Sarah Daniel is a Political Science PhD student, focusing on the evolution of spatial urban planning policies in colonial East Africa. Her research investigates the enduring impacts of these policies on contemporary patterns of spatial separation and inequality, particularly how space affects individuals' perceptions and political attitudes and behaviors. She has experience in conducting causal inference research and qualitative research, including interviews and archival research.
