The UC Berkeley Cloud Computing Meetup is welcoming people to our first in-person meetup since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. (We will try our hand at making the event hybrid to accommodate both remote and local participation-- an experiment!) We are intentionally moving the event to 1:30pm on July 14th (just this month!) to coincide with the OneIT event on campus - since many of our remote staff will be on-site.
This month we will feature presentations by a two UC Berkeley SkyDeck startups who will share their experiences building products that are delivered and built via cloud technologies. Crypto Arsenal is cloud-based automated crypto-trading platform for quantitative strategy developers and daily traders. And Metaport.ai connects stories with places, turning cities into living repositories of memories with augmented reality.
1:00-1:30 Doors open
1:30 Welcome / announcements / poll (Amy and Bill)
1:40 Crypto Arsenal - Founder Richard Lee will demo Crypto Arsenals cloud based bot trading platform.
2:00-2:20 Metaport.ai - Metaport founder Gohar Barseghyan will demo Metaport and talk about the development of the product and how it will democratize location based and augmented reality storytelling.
2:30 Clean up and socializing
3:00 Doors close
NOTE: This event will by Hybrid, but Meetup doesn't support this too well - so if you RSVP you will receive a Zoom link and are welcome to join virtually or in-person. Our speakers will be in-person but will be streamed, and we will endeavor to engage with remote participants on an equal basis.
