Berkeley Prosopography Services receives NEH Digital Humanities Implementation Grant

July 17, 2014

At the Digital Humanities 2014 conference in Lausanne, Switzerland, Quinn Dombrowski, Research IT’s Digital Humanities Coordinator presented a short paper on TaDiRAH (the Taxonomy of Digital Research Activities in the Humanities), and a poster on the Mellon-funded integration work between the DiRT directory of digital research tools, the Commons In A Box scholarly networking platform, and the DHCommons project directory. The conference also provided an opportunity to publicize the new name and URL for the DiRT directory (formerly Bamboo DiRT). Stickers with the new logo for this widely-used resource were quickly added to many attendees’ laptops and other gadgets (pictured: DiRT board member Agiatis Benardou).
